I tested every AI 3d model generator.. here‘s what you NEED TO KNOW!

I have tested all of the AI three d model generators, and today, I wanna show you the best ones. I wanna talk about the pros of each of these tools and some of the cons and which tool is gonna be best for you based on what you're trying to create. And what I'm gonna do guys is just directly jump into the tools and show you all of this stuff. So first, wanna show you one of the cheapest tools that I found that actually doesn't do that great of a job.

This is just to kinda warn you that sometimes cheaper is not the best option. So here is the image that I used to have the tool create a three d model. I just had ChatGPT create me a Rick and Morty themed character. I put it into this tool and this is the three d model it came up with.

Here's another example. This is supposed to be a 90 degree elbow, like a connector. Just completely botched it. What I'm trying to get at guys is it's really important not to choose the cheapest tool, but actually do a little research and get the best one.

So as you probably know, there's like 10 or 15 of these really popular AI three d model generators, and I wanna break it down into the three best. And the three I'm going to be comparing is ROADN AI, Meshi AI, and Tripo AI. So let's first start with Meshi AI. This is probably the most well known.

They spend tons of money on advertising. It's super fairly priced. I think it's around $20 a month for their bottom tier plan. So some of the strengths of Meshi AI are that it's really good at making uniform three d models.

For example, this model here has a lot of small intricate things in areas, and it did an amazing job at blending it all together. This spot right here in the back is where a lot of the other three d model generators would struggle. See how uniform this is and they like the topography is really smooth? That's where these top tools really stand out.

Meshi does a great job at this. I would say, arguably, it's probably the fastest generator as well. And that's something to think about because what happens here is you ask the tool to create a three d model. Right?

Even if you're using a text prompt or an image, what happens is it has to go and create it, and the speed in which it creates it is really important. I found that one of the tools known as Hidden three d, which isn't on today's list, I had to generate the model and literally walk away from my computer and come back to it. So I think the speed is something worth noting. I would say Meshi AI is probably the best AI generator at creating humans.

I've made this model for a client. I think it was like his nephew. It's him playing basketball. I gotta also say that a lot of people are complaining about text on their three d models, and that's completely normal.

We're just not completely there yet. AI in general sucks at recreating text, but it's getting better every day. Someone also commissioned me to create this three d model. It is a replica of their dog, and as you can see, it did a really good job.

So what I think Meshi could work on, so some of the cons, it doesn't do multicolor that great. So, like, when I compare this three d model to what it looks like in this other tool known as Triple AI, this tool does multicolor at the highest level. So again, compare these. This is this model, and this is it with multicolor on Triple AI.

The multicolor abilities are absolutely top tier with Triple AI. And what's crazy is I can actually export the file, and that same file, I can directly upload it into my slicer. I've done a ton of videos on this, and this is a big deal because a lot of the other tools, what you have to do is save the file and then put it into Blender, and then spend ten minutes messing with it. But if you directly save the file from Triple dot it will go into your slicer and see that it's multicolor.

I see this as being a pretty big deal, especially if you're into multicolor three d printing because it could save you a ton of time. And at any point during the video you wanna check out these tools, I'll put all my affiliate links down in the description. With most of them, you'll actually get a free trial just to try it. And as far as the quality when it comes to Triple AI, I gotta say that it is top tier.

And what's really cool is this tool actually has a ultra mesh quality setting. Like, if we go over here to the side, when you're uploading your images, what you can do is upload it, and then you just click on this ultra, and it takes 50 credits. So I will say the ultra mesh is top tier, but it does eat up more credits. But look at this.

This is of my dog. His name is Tank. It's absolutely ridiculous, the quality of this. And again, I three d printed this model.

I think it took like twenty hours or something, but look at this. It's absolutely insane, the quality of it. Here are some of the other models I've created. And I actually just uploaded a video where I custom create home decor three d models that I'm selling on Etsy, and these are some of them.

And we three d printed them, and they actually turned out amazing, and I'm doing really well selling these models. So we've done four designs now. We did that decoration looking thing. We did the cat, which is pretty cool.

And we did the home sign, which is lame, think. And we did the cutoff legs goat style character. I think this stuff could sell on Etsy or maybe at trade shows, maybe at your local craft store. This should get the ball rolling for ideas.

That's gotta be the most common complaint I get on these videos is, oh, these tools cost money and they suck. But guys, 20 or $30 a month to create possibly hundreds of three d models that I could then sell. Like, I don't think you're thinking about the big picture here. I mean, yeah, if you're looking at this as a pure hobby and you're just having fun, I get that.

Maybe you don't wanna spend any money, but I'm selling these models, man. Here's another cool design I made. This is a home decor piece. And again, I use AI to create everything.

I have this tactic where we go and look at ads from big companies, and we kind of use AI to kinda generate something similar using the styling. Okay. So do you remember I showed you the basketball player in Meshi AI that someone commissioned me to build? Here is the same basketball player in Triple AI.

So, I mean, that's about as realistic as it gets. And you have to remember, these tools are still pretty new and they're gonna get better every single day. Look at the comparison. Here on single color and here on multicolor in Triple AI.

And then the last one I wanna talk about is ROADN AI. So this tool is a little bit different. I will say that it does cost more money than the other tool, but it's extremely high quality. So I think meshy AI is like $20 a month and Triple AI is also $20 a month.

But if I remember correctly, ROADN AI or known as hyper three d AI is $30 a month for their bottom tier plan. So this is considered like production grade, and I gotta say it is the highest level. So when realism completely matters, I think AI takes the win. Here is another example of a human that I use, so his sleeve got a little messed up down here.

Here is the same model on meshy AI. And again, what's gonna happen here is you're gonna find little quirks where it messes up. Like, you can kinda tell right here his finger is a little funky, but you're kind of at the mercy of these tools guys because they just do their best and they make the file. Another common question I get is, can I edit these within the tool?

And the answer is kind of. Some of them are better than others. What you're usually gonna have to do is actually get directly into a CAD software program and just edit the file. And I know that's a little bit scary for some of us, but my advice is to just jump right in.

There's some free tools that you can dip your toes in with like Tinkercad. So let's recap this. I have tried every single AI three d model generator, and these are the top three best AI three d model generators. They are ROADN AI, Meshi AI, and Tripo AI.

Tripo AI specializes in multicolor three d models, and ultra high resolution mesh three d models. Whereas Meshi AI specializes in speed, functionality, and ease of use. And ROADN AI is the highest quality, but it's also more expensive than the other tools. If you're looking for pro grade resolution in topography, ROADN AI or also known as hyper three d AI might be the best choice for you.
